Thomas Landen

Director of Global Field Marketing Revinate (HOLLAND)

Thomas Landen is the head of marketing for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Revinate. Within his position he is responsible for extending Revinate’s thought leadership, driving overall marketing operations and building and maintaining relations with hoteliers in his region. Prior to joining Revinate Thomas gained more than ten years of international marketing and sales experience in the hospitality industry and worked at landmark hotels like The Fairmont San Francisco and St. Andrews Bay in Scotland. He speaks frequently at key industry conferences and is a visiting lecturer at Hotelschool Maastricht for the topic hotel technology and marketing. Thomas holds a degree in Hospitality and Marketing and serves as an advisory board member for the Academy of International Hospitality Research (AIHR) and TIO University. He lives in Amsterdam with his family.


Senior Director Business Development, The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group

A graduate in Hotel, Catering & Institutional Management from Brighton University, and a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality (FIH). With almost 35-years of hotel & catering experience in operations, consulting and business development, Darren joined the Carlson Rezidor development team in Moscow in March 2006. Previously engaged with Starwood, De Vere, Forte, Renaissance, and IHG in the UK, USA, Bermuda and Hong Kong he initially worked in Eastern Europe in May 1992. Since he has resided the past 25-years in Russia, Azerbaijan and Ukraine. The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group have 1,400 hotels in operation and under development, with a global footprint covering 115 countries and territories. Within Eastern Europe Carlson Rezidor manage 100-hotels with over 23,000-guestrooms open and in operation including the Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest and the Park Inn by Radisson Bucharest.

Adela Cristea

Development Director Central and Eastern Europe, Hilton Worldwide (Austria)

Adela joined Hilton Worldwide in March 2007, to help establish the Feasibility and Investment Analysis function in Europe & Africa, before joining the Development team in 2008. She is responsible for growing Hilton Worldwide’s Portfolio of Brands in Central and Eastern Europe. Prior to Hilton Worldwide, Adela gained extensive experience in both consulting and hotel operations. She has an MBA from Hult University and studied corporate finance at London Business School.

Paul Rosenberg

Director All Brands – Europe, MARRIOTT INTERNATIONAL

Paul Rosenberg joined the Europe Development Division as Director, International Hotel Development in April 29, 2013. Since then, he has been responsible for the development of all of Marriott International brands throughout parts of Europe. Before joining Marriott International and relocating to Zurich, Switzerland he held the position of Senior Development Manager – Middle East at Hilton Worldwide, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he was part of the team which handles expansion of Hilton Worldwide and all its brands throughout the Middle East, parts of North Africa and the Indian Ocean. Mr. Rosenberg graduated from the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, Lausanne, Switzerland in 2008.


Area General Manager, AccorHotels (RO, BG, MK)

Frank is the current Area General Manager for Romania, Bulgaria and Macedonia for AccorHotels / Orbis. He has extensive experience in hotel management and operations. He started his career in 1988 in Brussels and Bruges in Belgium in senior operational roles at AccorHotels. He quickly got promoted to Director of Food and Beverage at the Novotel Sheremetyevo-2 in Moscow, Russia in 1992. After spending three years in Moscow he moved back to London to and begun his ten years long career in the United Kingdom at AccorHotels. He started at one of the most busiest airport’s Novotel, at the Heathrow as an Operations Manager. He then held several General Manager positions across the United Kingdom: Novotel Preston, Novotel Southampton, Novotel Milton Keynes, Novotel Bristol Centre. In 2006 he moved to Turkey, where he directed and managed one of the key hotels in Istanbul, the Novotel Istanbul. He then spent two years as a General Manager at Novotel Trabzon. After more than 20 years of service at AccorHotels he had appointed to Area General Manager for Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, then from 2014, he is the Area General Manager for Romania, Bulgaria and Macedonia where he oversees of operations and development including development in the Balkans and Croatia. He is fluent in Dutch, English, French and speaks German as well. He is an avid fan of history, wines and the Arsenal.

Brigita Aleksandraviciute

Brigita has a vast experience in the hospitality area and is currently working as a Development Director at Apex Alliance Hotel Management. She is responsible for the further development of the company in Central and Eastern Europe, finding and maintaining the contacts with research companies, architects, bank representatives, real estate agencies, developers, investors as well as International hotel chains and preparing the business plans and estimations for the potential hotel management agreements. In the past she worked as Accorhotels Development Projects Manager for Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia for Orbis Hotel Group. Brigita finished Swiss Hotel Management School, International Business School, Vilnius University and Economy Faculty, Vilnius University.

Sophie is a director at the HVS London office. She joined HVS in 2003, following ten years’ operational experience in the hospitality industry in South America and Europe. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Sophie holds a degree in Hotel Management from Ateneo de Estudios Terciarios, and an MBA from IMHI (Essec Business School, France and Cornell University, USA). Since joining HVS, she has advised on hotel investment projects and related assignments throughout the EMEA region, and is responsible for the development of HVS’s business in France and the French-speaking countries, as well as Africa. Sophie completed an MSc in Real Estate Investment and Finance at Reading University in 2014, and is in the process of becoming a RICS certified surveyor.

Frédéric Le Fichoux is a partner at Cushman & Wakefield. He is leading the hotel transactions’ teams in Continental Europe and supporting the hospitality team in Central & Eastern Europe. With over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Fred has an extensive knowledge of the hotel real estate sector and is a recognized expert in the European market. He has spent the last 10 years in managing and growing the hospitality team for the CEE region at Cushman and Wakefield. His latest responsibilities are focus on hotel transaction advisory and brokerage services across continental Europe. Fred has advised on the acquisition and disposal of over EUR 700 million of hotel transactions in Europe, over the past years. He holds a MBA in Hospitality Management from Cornell University and ESSEC Business School. He is also Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) since 2010.

With nearly 10 years of experience, Emeline has worked for AccorHotels in various countries. Starting her career in operations, she was the General Manager of ibis London Stratford. She then moved to Revenue Management where she held different positions in the UK then in the Czech Republic. Now based in Bucharest, she is responsible for identifying development opportunities in Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and the Balkan countries, and for establishing partnerships to open new properties under AccorHotels brands (in the upscale, midscale and economy segments) such as Pullman, Mercure, Novotel, ibis or ibis Styles.
